EUnetHTA launches a public consultation on “Personalised medicine and co-dependent technologies, with a special focus on study design issues”

EUnetHTA has launched a public consultation on the draft methodological reflection paper “Personalised medicine and co-dependent technologies, with a special focus on study design issues”.

This paper was written as a result of discussions on the relevance of personalised medicine (PM) for patient care and health care systems and the great expectations and the promises concerning the patient-relevant benefit of PM technologies.

Alongside this, the German Institut für Qualität und Wirtschaftlichkeit im Gesundheitswesen (Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care – IQWiG) together with the Haute Autorité de Santé France (HAS) and the Basque Office for Health Technology Assessment (OSTEBA) have developed a draft comments table, which can be found on the EUnetHTA website.
