World’s largest imaging project launched to investigate major diseases

The MRC, Wellcome Trust and the British Heart Foundation are funding the world’s largest health imaging study. This study aims to create the largest collection of scans of internal organs, which will transform the way scientists study a wide range of diseases, including dementia, arthritis, cancer, heart attacks and strokes.
