NHS Fife praised for pioneering tech trial

NHS Fife has been given an award for a pioneering piece of technology it has been using since 2015, reported Kingdom FM. It is the first health board in Scotland to pilot the Patientrack system, which monitors patients’ vital signs at their bedside. The health board said the number of cardiac arrests in the medical admissions acute unit alone has dropped by two-thirds since the system was introduced at NHS Fife.
