Spanish Minister of Health Proposes that the EMA Moves to Barcelona

The Spanish Minister of Health has assured that Spain is the ideal country to receive the EMA and has put forward Barcelona as the Spanish candidate to host the headquarters of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), leaving aside other potential cities such as as Alicante and Málaga.

The Government has said they would fight for Barcelona’s designation should the EMA seek a new location.
