Valencia to Treat all Hepatitis C Patients

The Valencian Community will serve all patients affected by hepatitis C regardless of their state of fibrosis, as announced by the regional president, Ximo Puig. Thus, as explained, the region will be the first autonomy to care for all patients affected by this disease.

Specifically, the measure will extend to a total of 2,800 more people who present the disease in early stages. Puig has valued that this is one of the “most important” measures carried out by the Valencian Government during the current legislature because it represents the concern for the well-being of the Valencians and the commitment to “progress and prosperity” of the current Executive.
