BMA Urges NHS Focus in General Election

The British Medical Association is urging politicians to take on the NHS crisis in the pre-general election manifestos, following the sudden move by the UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, when she announced that there will be a general election in the UK on June 8, to “secure the strong and stable leadership the country needs to see us through Brexit and beyond”.

With the straining pressures surrounding the NHS, the BMA are urging politicians to include the NHS as a central issue within their manifestos issue in the upcoming election, and not “pushed to the margins in the focus on Brexit”.
