Five NHS Providers Pilot Real-Time TeleTracking Technologies

Five NHS providers are to pilot a new technology that uses bracelets to track beds, staff and patients, giving trusts information on bed status, patient pathway tracking and asset management in real time using TeleTracking Technologies.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust was the first site to pilot the technology and as a direct result of TeleTracking, patients are 3 times more likely to be directed to a bed appropriate to their on-going needs than before using the system.
