The Government Responds to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee Inquiry into Regenerative Medicine
The Government have released a report in response to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee Inquiry into Regenerative Medicine. The report focuses on the important role of regenerative medicine in therapies for areas of high unmet medical need. The Government continues to work towards encouraging the development of an environment that supports the delivery of these therapies and the development of a cutting-edge industry for regenerative medicines in the UK.
In response to the strategy for regenerative therapies proposed by the Committee, the Government stated that it will support the development and quick adoption of innovative technologies that the NHS is in need of, as this will lead to the improvement of patient treatments and the UK economy.
