NHS England and NHS Improvement have redesigned their senior national and regional management structure. The two organisations are aiming to become more collaborative, with a new joint senior leadership team, known as the Executive Group.
The Chief Executives of NHS England and NHS Improvement, Simon Stevens and Ian Dalton respectively, have stated:
“The public see the National Health Service as a single organisation so, as we work to improve care for patients, it is right that the national leadership of the NHS work more closely. Together we are more than the sum of our parts.”
