The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Access to Medicines and Medical Devices will welcome Andrew Dillon (Chief Executive on NICE) to its meeting on 4th April.
According to the announcement from the APPG:
“Over the last 20 years NICE has been at the heart of the drive for evidence-based care and the adoption of innovative practice.
“As NICE enters its third decade, what is the future of health technology assessments in light of revolutionary changes in the nature of new medicines? How can and should NICE evolve and adapt?
“What are the opportunities and what are the barriers to retaining NICE’s reputation as the centre of excellence internationally?
“The APPG on Access to Medicines and Medical Devices is delighted to welcome Sir Andrew Dillon to address a meeting of the group and discuss the current role of NICE and his vision for the future, including health technology evaluation.”
