Access to Medicines and Medical Devices APPG calls for evidence on NICE methods review

The APPG on Access to Medicines and Medical Devices has opened a consultation which seeks evidence on the NICE methods review.

The consultation asks for views on:

  • what issues the NICE methods review should consider
  • how the methods review should balance NHS budgetary constraints
  • how the amount of positive NICE recommendations may be improved
  • the Accelerated Access Review and Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access Scheme

The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) consultation closes on Monday 29th April, and responses should be submitted to Claudia Forsyth, working as the secretariat for the APPG.

The full consultation can be found here.
