MAP staff gain META facilitator status

We are pleased to announce that we have an additional three fully-trained and signed off NICE META facilitators here at MAP.

David Ringger, Muksit Rahman and Steve Norton join Maxim Souter in carrying out META projects after passing the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) training course. They look forward to working with some of our readers soon.

META provides a review of the evidence gathered for a particular medical device or diagnostic and makes suggestions of the evidence to gather before pursuing access via the NHS. This gap analysis helps companies understand the evidence they have, and where more might be needed before moving to the next step.

META is a service offered by, and organised through, NICE Scientific Advice. Projects are facilitated by MAP and other organisations.
