The Office of Life Sciences has published the 2019 iteration of its annual report on the state of the UK life sciences industry and the UK as a market for innovative health technologies.
In the interests of consistency and comparability, the Office of Life Sciences (OLS) has sought to maximise use of existing methodology for this years report, focusing on trends observed in the latest year of data.
The report highlights that since the publication of the previous report, the UK has generated almost £74bn in annual turnover across the life sciences sector.
The OLS report is led by Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Lord Henley and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of the Department of Health and Social Care Baroness Blackwood.
