Medicines and Medical Devices Bill to resume in Parliament

The Medicines and Medical Devices Bill will enter its Committee stage on Monday 8th June, resuming its journey through the Parliamentary process.

The Committee has been asked to report by Thursday 11th June, and will meet four times. The compressed schedule has resulted in a decision not to invite evidence from witnesses in live sessions of the Committee.

The Committee membership can be found here. The Conservative, Labour, and Scottish National Parties are represented.

Amendments proposed to the Bill are given here, suggesting that, in the main, the legislation closely resembles the Bill in its original form.
