Anderson appointed to lead CMU

MAP has been informed that Adam Anderson has been appointed as the Head of NHS England and NHS Improvement’s Commercial Medicines Unit (CMU) from 1st September.

This role reports to Commercial Medicines Director Blake Dark, making Mr Anderson an important stakeholder in future dealings with the NHS. As Head of CMU, Mr Anderson will oversee its role in the procurement and supply chains of hospital medicines at a national level.

He brings with him a strong track record of strategic commercial improvement combined with excellent leadership and negotiation skills.”
