Executive Summary
- The Innovation and Technology Tariff (ITT) was announced on 17th June 2016, and provides two years of funding from 2019
- The ITT provides funding to promote uptake of proven innovations into secondary care settings. The scheme is not intended to cover up-front or implementation costs, but rather the ongoing cost of use for a particular innovation
- Technologies must have the potential to significantly improve patient care in services funded by the National Tariff
